I Made it!!!

Yes I did..I made it to and from Tennessee in one piece, no scratch..only, stiffed legs, numb butt and turned- white knuckles..

Wow..I can't believe that I had the guts to drive to TN, it's actually a 2.5 hours away nonstop. But, of course we needed to stop somewhere to eat and use the restroom. We left the house around 9AM and we got to Jen's house around 1230PM, not bad I think..

I am so glad that my FIL helped me navigate. I had a map printed out, I had GPS programmed to where I need to go, and of course I had my co-pilot with me. But, without my FIL help, I don't know if I would be able to find my way. That GPS was kind of confusing. I'd rather read the road signs above me than listen to a machine talking saying " about 100 ft. make right, and keep left" hehehe..ano raw?

My FIL was making conversation so that I relax a little, he can see that I was holding the stirring wheel so tight that he can see my knuckles were turning white (kaitim ko kaya, nakikita niyang namumuti na ang mga kamay ko sa kawalan ng dugo)
I am used to driving at least 65mp to a 55mph road, and this road I took yesterday was an interstate that the maximum speed was 70mph, and of course because I am kaskasera, I was running mostly 80 and sometimes, a little bit over (nerbyos si biyenan, baka mahuli raw kami ng hagad!).

I learned that when you change lane on a busy fast road, as long as you know it's safe to move over, just turn your signal and worry only about the car in front of you, and not the one behind you. I was so scared to get hit by the car behind me, and I forgot about the car in front of me..My FIL said " slow down Liz, slow down" since I almost hit the one in front of me, I am so glad that I was so alert to step on my break.

I guess, I scared my FIL so many times, I don't know if he would ever ride with me if I had to do long drive next time. But he said, I did good.. My husband always tell me when I offer to drive when we need to go somewhere, he values his life, so when we go out , he drives. I scare him when I drive, and I get a lot of criticism that make me want to hit him so hard.

That's all Folks, Now, I can go to TN by myself, and I would be able to visit my friend Jen of The Loves of my Life, she's so sweet. She made Sinigang and Laing for us and watched Wrozlie while me and my mother and Alex went to the Department of Health..Even my FIL said that she is such a nice woman..Thanks my dear friend..You are very hospitable, luv you, muah!!
